If rain were Godzilla, my internet would be the thousands of shrieking Japanese running at the sight of it.
So, I capitalized on the bad weather and my internet's nonworkosity and ran my ass over to the theatre to catch the first showing of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
IT FUCKING ROCKED HARDCORE.
It rocked more hardcore than the book, it rocked more hardcore than the 1970s Gene Wilder version. I will see it again with my parents, I'll see it again with my friends, and I'll probably see it again by myself just for the hell of it.
